Q: "No Holes" front license plate mount -- worth it?"
A: Yes. Looks great. Leaves no holes in bumper. Buying the bracket pre-made was cheaper than fabbing it myself

Just something to consider for all of you "front plate haters": I live in MO which requires front plates. When I bought my E46 coupe in 2000, I couldn't stand the idea of putting holes in the bumper for a front plate. I also didn't like the idea of putting a sharp piece of metal in the cockpit to decapitate me in an accident (plus I figured in would rattle or scratch the dash). So,... I put the license on my color copier and made a paper copy, cut it to size, and put that up front in the window-never had a problem (other than it faded after a year or two-so back to the copier). Eventually , I got over it in a few years and put the real license on. Anyway, just something to try until the "new" wears off your ride or another option arises for plate mounting.

I've always been weary of putting the plate up in the windshield, because in the event of a front collision where the glass breaks (or other wise dislodges the suction cups), the plate becomes a sharp, flying piece of metal... not good. There is some concern for those with big front mounts, but it's generally not a pracitcal issue. If you're road racing or anything where every ounce of air is necessary, take the front plate off.

DAMN THE MAN, go front plateless
I never really thought of the plate becoming a "weapon of mass distruction" lol. Thanks for the heads up (pun intended).
