I was told that my replacement car went from 112 to 150 sometime today. 112 seems to be when they check parts inventory so they know they can complete a particular car and 150 seems to be when you can't make changes any more

 

Well, the current status code for my car is 112. Looks like I still have time to add/remove a couple of options and drive my MA crazy in the process.

Today AskMini told me that my order has been "accepted" and is "scheduled for daily production." They said this meant that I'm in a stage btwn Order and Production...

They said I was in this stage as of 5/14, and it would take 7-10 days from then to get, what i believe he said, a production date. or did he mean for it to start production? i'm so confused. He said for me to call back by Thursday to find out my mini's status.

Then he said I should get a "vehicle production" phone number from my MA that would give me the most accurate status of my mini. He admitted that not only is OL info delayed (no surprise), but sometimes the info AskMini has is also delayed info.... I called my MA and he said he was not aware of a number he could give me, only a number his manager had that his manager couldn't give out... anyone know about this "vehicle production" phone number? my MA didn't have any idea of the status of my mini... only that "it should be coming soon.."

man... i hope i can join rover and mini4minpin on their boat, as i'm in san diego....

Since the next WW ship to come to the west coast, MAERSK WIND, departs June 4th, we only need to get through production and over to the dock by then if not to lose any time. If we miss that, the next ship, MADAME BUTTERFLY, is one week later, June 11th. I hope the snafu with my order won't cause me to miss the boat.

Since my dealership said my replacement car is still listed as week 23 production, I won't be starting any week 21 threads just yet.

That's the same day my first order entered "daily production" and that car entered production today. I'd expect your car to enter production imminently.

 

hey rover and gforce23... how did you find out what code you were? did askmini give that number code?

 

I found out from my dealer but ASK-MINI did tell me last week about the "daily production" status which corresponds to status 112.

 

Same here. "Scheduled for production" on the online status page corresponds to code #150. I hope it gets updated pretty soon!

I was looking at the WW auto cargo track page for a friend's MCS that is currently at the VDC. Just to give you Californians a fair bit of idea, the shipping history is listed in reverse chronological order:

Just called ask mini, still the same, will try my MA
MA gives the same info, week 23.
He also said that they are waiting on parts, according to the Just In Time ordering system. Now if I could only hack into their computer and move things along a bit. Am seing Amos(my MA) on Saturday to update addresses etc, and he said he should have a better idea then.

WOOHOOO!!! According to ASK-MINI, my car went into production and has an estimated completion date of 05/30! So that's week #21, right? Btw, I still haven't received my VIN#. Have you guys received yours?

 

I got my vin # last night.

 

Are you getting your VIN from ASK-MINI or your MA?

 

I got my vin # from my order details in the owner's lounge.

 

Then I think I'm not going to get mine anytime soon. Since they reordered my car, all the information is wrong and I was told it would take about a week to get updated.

 

help guys

i just called AskMini, and i got completely conflicting information... today AskMini told me that i'm still scheduled for the 23rd week, which seems to conflict with what AskMini told me yesterday.

i told her exactly what i was told yesterday, and she couldn't seem to see any notes on any activity done on 5/14 (when i was scheduled for "daily production." i told her that i was told to call back either today or tomorrow for more updated info, and she said the updated info was that i'm on the 23rd week. she said she had no additional info from that. i told her that i was already informed that a couple weeks. i kept my cool, but i'm flustered.

i also asked her about the phone number that AskMini suggested i get fr my dealer in regards to finding the ACCURATE status of my mini. she had no idea what i was talking about. she claimed everyone at AskMini has the same info... what should i do?

 

It's looking like ASK-MINI might not have the latest information. I called them just now and they are saying I'm "scheduled for daily production pack" which is a step backwards. I asked for the numerical status code and they said they don't use those. I might try to contact my MA again later today.

 

Wowee! This is turning out to be an awesome day! I just called ASK-MINI and another rep handed me the car's VIN#. Time to do some homework!

 

Congratulations gforce! Sorry rover for your set-back. I hope it's just an AskMini fluke... I'm going to call them again tomorrow...

Does anyone know who we can call for a more accurate of our mini's since AskMini is getting some of our information backwards??

I'd try to call my MA, but I'm starting to think my MA is not being that informative... :(

 

I'm going to try to wait until tomorrow and then try ASK-MINI one more time before I contact my MA.

 

Just checked OL again. Now my specs are correct but no VIN yet. This is the first time the specs have all been correct on OL since I ordered

 

I'm just the opposite- I have my VIN but my specs in the owner's lounge aren't all there
