Another vote for East Bay MINI. I worked with Blair and he was low key and has a love for the car (owns a GP). I don't think he had to work that hard for me because I knew what I wanted when I talked to him. My must haves were LSD, DSC, MFSW, and HiFi. I like the black roof but understand it adds to the interior heat on warmer days.

I got $300 off MSRP at Concord...talk to Mari Vaca. She is great. I have last week of June production, so it will be here late July or Early August.

Mini of SF is 1000 ovr MSRP, Nielo Mini is 995 over MSRP and Mountain view is 2000 over MSRP.

I did not even try eastbay since I was told that they do not have any slots available.

You should try both east bay and concord...seems to be the only honest dealers in the bay area!!!

I would double check that. Things may have changed recently. When I ordered at MINI of Mountian View, in early March, I was told $1,500 over MSRP. However, when I picked it up Thursday (May 10) I paid MSRP. I didn't even have to bargain. Without a word, the just charged MSRP.

One of the things that put me off Mountain View was the add-on sticker in the window that was $2000 over MSRP. After reading about all the Bay Area dealers, I was willing to go with East Bay knowing I wouldn't have to bargain down to MSRP. I didn't actually talk to anyone at Mountain View so I don't know how they work things out, however I was in their showroom twice and both times no one so much as said hello to me. Way more friendly at East Bay.

They must have slipped on MSRP pricing....lucky you! Anyway, I called them up and that's what they quoted me on the phone since the S is in short supply. Niello will not budge at $995 over MSRP. I think that by initially telling people the markup over MSRP, Mini of Mountain View are walking sales!
