It's here too:

No word from my sources about the '07 debut happening at Detroit. I know that the stand is mostly complete and seems to resemble the ones at years past shows. The MINI press conference is scheduled for Monday, January 9th at 2:00 - 2:25 at the stand.

I really don't mind it as much as I thought. The blue wheels are a bit much, but the interior is nice, I like the floating seats and the dash. COuld be kinda nice once they make it to production. We will need bigger headlights though, they look so small in comparison to what we have now!

I like it as well. It doesn't seem as big as I thought it was going to be, or as big as the other concepts seemed to be. I'm really liking the interior as well. I'll miss the center console area, but this new design looks cleaner. The rear storage bin is going to be awesome for my new baby/mountain bike gear!

It's the *exact* same bodyshell.

I agree.

Overall, looks fun and functional! Now... to figure out how to get my folks to dump their Chevy Blazer for one. Shouldn't be TOO tough a sell.

Just don't expect hover-seats to be standard equipment. . .

I dig the seats and the beverage tray. Its like a little jet. And the cargobox is a useful idea. I hate clutter.

I thought our MINI's looked silly too when I first saw them.

What happened to the hover CARS we were all supposed to be driving by the year 2000? How were all those Sci-Fi movies so wrong?

I realize that - but for some reason the other concepts appeared larger to me. Maybe it was all the tables on the roof or something...
Or maybe the angles these shots were taken at...I dunno. Just seems cleaner and more appealing to me this time around.

Those blue wheels make it look like a horrible Mini SUV.

But they're neccesary for when they fold under, spin and create lift.

I'm not impressed. But then, I can still smell the new car smell of my 2005 MINI. I agree that the white interior is a bit impracticle. My granddaughters would make sure I had to clean the seats after each use.

I like the CR/W concept car!

OK I know that is the Targa Newfoundland winner!

That is what the 2007+ MINIs should look like!
