Electrical issue ??? head and tail lights remain on

2010 mini cooper clubman (base)

the high beams and brake lights will still be on after the car is shut off for hours. after disconnecting the battery for 24 hrs, and resetting everything, it now only stays on at random times and i have to jump the car in the morning before work. i’m not sure what else it could be. took to a mini dealer and they have no idea what it could be.

the battery was replaced 12/2021 and its only truly acting up when it’s extremely humid (Pennsylvania) or when it rains.

can someone shed some light on this ?

A wild guess suggests that the BCM or its connections are wet or corroded. You could try drying it out but it's probably best to replace it. (I don't know what re-coding might be needed).
