R55 Headlight washer pump harness plug missing
Headlight washer pump harness plug missing
I have a 2011 MCS clubman with xenon headlights with the washers but they were not connected. I installed the hose, the reservoir with the pump for the windshield and headlight. That's when I realized that I couldn't find a plug for the headlight washer pump. Is this hidden somewhere and I'm just not seeing it or was there a separate harness for cars with the headlight washer? Can I just run both pumps from the same plug?
I am curious how this works out for you, as I also have xenon headlights with the disconnected washers. From my research, only the cars with automatic headlights were equipped with the headlight washers fully functioning.
+1 For certain years around 2011-2012 we find they did not have them, but had the headlight itself and the set up for one. My R58 JCW has the dummy set up but no actual wires, i had black headlights also.

My current Hampton has the dummy washers. My previous Hampton, which was built in the same month!, had auto headlights and was equipped with the actual washer system. When I bought my current Hampton was when I realized you had to have auto headlights to get the headlight washer system - at least in the US.
