chrome door sill

My passenger side door sill became loose and got bent when the door was shut. Has anyone had this minor cosmetic issue and if so what did you do for a replacement part. The glue or two sided tape seems to be the problem.

You can buy new ones. They are about $75 apiece.

I've almost caught the edge of the strip with a towel while drying after a wash or when waxing.

We have some fun door sills HERE or just a replacement one for the damaged one HERE. That one is chrome and says "MINI Cooper" for Justa Clubman.
