Torque Spec 2011 Clubman

Going to be doing my first oil change on wife;s 2011 Clubman Justa. What are the torque specs for the Oil pan plug and the oil filter case. I have ft pound torque wrench. This is an interim oil change 5K since last Dealer change. Decided I don't like the long gap between oil changes. Getting ready to go on a hot drive between Sacramento and Boise Idaho and back 1100 miles round trip at 70+ both ways. Will also be send a oil sample in to be analyzed by Blackstone and will be running a magnet through the filter element,

Thanks

Tom

According to the Bentley Manual tightening torque for the drain plug to oil pan is 30Nm (22.1 ft-lb).

Be careful with that torque wrench. The plug will be well lubricated with oil, and you could strip the threads in the oil pan with that torque wrench. Personally, I would avoid a torque wrench, and just snug it tight with a ratchet.

Agree, I have never used a torque wrench on the drain plug and never stripped one out either.
