R55 A little guidance...
A little guidance...
So after destroying my front passenger side from a bomb crater in a parking lot, Ive decided to upgrade the socks and shoes under my 12' clubby s. Ive read through countless threads on the pros and cons of coils vs lowering springs and I believe I want to go the way of the coils. I do not plan on tracking my car or anything like that however I am looking for that lowered look, not so much a tuck but getting rid of the wheel gap. I have been quoted a price of almost $3k for some NM satin bronze wheels with some Kumo tires and BC coils. I am no gear head so Id like some advice on if this is a good deal or not. Also any and other options for shaving a little off that total price would be appreciated. I drive a between 750-900 miles per month if that is of any help.
Thanks in advance!

I may be wrong, because I do not have a warranty on my mini, but I don't think messing with your suspension should affect the warranty. If you have the kind of money (or are willing to cough it up that is) then go right ahead down the dealership path. I have found some Megan coils for my clubby that I am thinking about and they are right around $1,000. Only problem with the DIY is that everything is almost as much of a ***** as the next guys ex. I think for the complete set you are saying that is a bit much, does it include labor? If not, you might get a quote on that before making a final decision.
