Yea, It was a la carte for the Clubman. And for other models like the Cooper (NON S ) it was a kit. The JCW Aero original or what we call the Aero I did not have the brake duct kit and had a less aggressive front lower lip was the main difference.
Yes, my rear panels are "same as body" color...I like it a lot and it was a part of a package on order...can't remember the package.....check with MINI dealer, they should at least have the details-whether you intend to source there or not.
My R55 was bought used and is out of warranty. If I had bought new, I would have done the same as you. :-)
Looks like the parts from ECSTuning should do the trick if I decide to go down this road. Having to paint the upper portion of the bumper is a pain, but I'm thinking of having the roof painted so maybe I'd just bundle all this work together. We'll see, I'm not in a rush.
If it was at that super sale price you had a couple of years ago, I would have already jumped on it. Unfortunately, every time I think I'm going to spruce her up, something else breaks. :-(
Yea, we have that price on them now w/ free ship and all the other kits are all gone. So they won't be having a sale like that magnitude ever again for body kits. MINI does not have pre-painted body kits anymore. And new ones are a la carte. This is one of the only ones left (prepainted) and the price is most likely going to stay that way till they are all gone. Figured I would give some people the heads up because after things are all gone then I get PM's and asked if they still have them
Like all the rare JCW stuff and Gen 1 rare parts that are now NLA.
For the Clutch here some options. Clutch Masters has a popular kit that are dual mass to single mass. So you dont have to replace that expensive dual mass.
@ECSTuning -- Thank you for the heads up and the detail. I figured those prices from a couple of years ago were never coming back, but having you confirm it is good to know.

This is the Clubman Aero I rear bumper. The vents are functional. As mentioned, the side skirts are similar to the Aero II version, but without the ducts.
Thats the ultra-rare Aero sport kit ( also called just aero kit for the gen2 MINI). Also its for a clubman S, I have only seen a handful of these in the R55 set up.
