hi
i was driving at the FWY abt 70 mph, and felt the engine bag down,all the sudden the exhaust emission light came up, but still i was driving around 70-80 mph with any problem
i did check the manual & did tightened the gas cap cover and the light is still there, ill drive around the block & hoping the light turns off,
the car has aprox 84,000 mile & i think it still has the original spark plugs
( which will be my next project to replace)

Any reason why the exhaust emission light up ?
if i replace the spark plugs, will this solve my problems?

Stop by an auto parts store and see if they can pull any codes. They will do this for free at most places. If you have codes ask for a print out and then post them on here and we can see what you might have going on. Without the codes who knows...
