R55 Elements in left side-rear window?

Elements in left side-rear window?

Just bought a 2014 Clubman.

I noticed that the large side window, on the left side, rear, has what looks like vertical "elements", similar to the defroster elements on the barn door windows. (The right side/rear window has none.)

Anyone know what these are? And why only on the left?

Secondary radio antenna. The car has a "diversity module" that looks for the best signal between the roof antenna and window antenna and switches as needed for best reception.
