Sad day at miniusa.com ;)

The Clubman as we know it is no longer listed on the website. I think I noticed earlier this week.

Curious to see the next Gen.

I'm glad that I got my 2014 when I did... It is a shame to see this body style go by the wayside...

Our cars will be rare soon.

When you think about the numbers of other mind numbing crap on the roads.. The Clubman is a standout.

Between functionality and real fun... Very other few cars come close... It's a real shame to see it turned into a wagon...

On the upside. Years from now at least front end clips will be swappable with the rest of the 2nd Gen lineup... The passenger doors.. Rear doors and shell... Not so much...

I love shooting brakes.. This body hit all the marks for me and my family.

American here. Do not want Fxx.

Noticed this earlier. Had gone on to configure another Clubbie and see how far I'd be in the hole if I made the switch and they were nowhere to be found. Oh well... I'll keep my eyes peeled for a well-optioned used one in a good color. Or maybe I'll go drive around the next neighborhood over and find my old one and leave a note for the current owner in case she ever decides to sell.

It's still available on the model menu as 'Clubman's Last Stand'.

No builder, though. Glad I got ordered mine in time. Not a big fan of the F minis; the new Clubman concept looks quite strange.

I was going to start a new thread, but this is pretty close to what I've been thinking- that being the legacy of our R55 models over time now that production has stopped. I think we have a critical mass that will allow a parts market to be sustainable, especially in sharing so much with the R56, but I've wondered about such things as buying a new club door 15 years from now, etc. Also, will our models increase in value due to their relative scarcity and classic beauty? How will they look in future collections of Minis? Perhaps much like the old estate wagons do now, which, to me, is really good.

Any thoughts along these lines, Clubman people?

Does anyone know the number of R55 bodies produced? How rare are they compared to the other MINI models? An R55 JCW may be the one to look for.

Around my area, I would say the r55 is as common if not more common than the r56. Never seen an r55 jcw however, mainly justa r55's. Had a 2013 justa r55 loaner for a couple days (one of which a snowstorm). Fun cars, and the 3rd door came in handy when bringing a co-worker to work.

- From a friendly r56 owner.

Oh dear; this post distresses me beyond words. My 09 baby is starting to wear thin on us and our wallet; not to mention making me ever so close to my mechanics.... was starting to think of biting the bullet and going for new. Is this the end of my affair with Mini? could be. Hate the countryman style and need the extra few inches the Clubman gave us.

So glad I got in on time and now have a fully loaded fJCW R55. I too dislike the Fxx stuff so far, and naming the new Fxx as a Clubman is just plain silly on MINI USA's part! It's no longer a CLUBman, but a four (4) door variant of the Countryman! I love the R55 look and feel. But on another note, it's fully loaded and can be had for the right price. I'd find a R56 some where or maybe move up to the Countryman my self! *****Now accepting offers......he he he
*****Remember, it's a rare fJCW R55......
Just repeating what others above have stated!

...but it's bigger and it's an "F". Take good care of your "R's".
