New Clubman update

When will the Clubman be updated with the same engine and changes that the Hatch has undergone?

Your welcome.
I should have added some text about bookmarking MotoringFile web site.
They always have some great articles.
Didn't mean to be rude with just the link, I was in a bit of a hurry.

Enjoy

Never I hope It's the most unique Mini and it's going to kill me when they BMW-ize it.....they will kill the cool factor, IMO.

The Clubman takes quirkiness to a whole new level. I was on the fence between that and the R56 I just bought....it was very close....

If we had room for 3, there would be one in the garage right now..

Everyone understands, right, that the next Clubby won't be a "stretched" F56 like today's version is a stretched R56?

Geneva show photos and info shows it to be a wider, different platform (and believed to be what will be used for the next Countryman also).

Didn't know what was meant by "updated with the same engine and other changes", exactly. But it won't just be a longer F56, not in that family/form factor like the next convertible and 4/5-door MINI will be. It's likely that this 4/5-door MINI hatch gave them the idea to re-position the Clubman as a larger, different vehicle ( as they did with the current Countryman).

You're right about it being longer and slightly wider, but it is still on the same platform as the 3 and 5 door hatchback.
