I was wondering what a yellow brake warning light with a service (car on a lift) light means. I just had the car inspected two weeks ago and no issues, car runs and srops fine?

 

I believe it means you're due for brake service

 

You do not say what year or miles. Most likely needs brake fluid changed. Light comes on after two years.

You could be due for a brake fluid change, or pads, or somekind of problem it's hard to say without seeing the light.

 

This has happened to our 09 MCS yesterday. Yellow brake light and when I check it has yellow lift light. I went through and did the various resets, the yellow brake remains. Does it time out after some driving or is it really checking the brake fluid? The owner's manual is not clear on this but maybe 'vehicle electronics failed'. Any insight would be great.

Brake fluid should be changed every 2 years. That is what your yellow light is trying to tell you.

 

I found a broken sensor on the right rear.
