Hey Everyone,
My wife and I are about to close a deal on a 2009 Clubman s . BRG with 90K miles
2 owner car.
Has had timing chain replaced, and our friends BMW shop has done all the service for the car. So know the history .

Anything anyone would recommend?

Going to replace suspension , as it feels a little worn. Koni FSD?

Coming from miatas we are looking forward to having a fun spare car that we car use and get our dogs in as well. .

Can you get them to do a walnut shell blasting to clean the carbon build-up prior to purchasing it? How's the clutch? I bought my '09 at 40K miles with one prior owner, but the clutch was toast 10K miles later.

I've also recently bought a BRG 09 Clubman S with about 57K miles on it. So far so good, with no issues, knock on wood. I was surprised at how much useful room there is, considering how small it looks on the outside. Green wasn't my first choice, but it's definitely growing on me. Very clean looking.

Thanks everyone!!

We are picking up the Clubman on Friday.

My wife who isn't a big car nut is looking forward to it. She likes quirky cars .
So this will fit in nicely with our honda element.

The independent BMW dealer (JCL Automotive in Hellertown pa) has meticulous service records for this car since brand new. Which helped seal the deal. The previous owner changed oil ever 5-7500 miles. No signs of carbon build up with is nice.

First mod . Going in for a window tint on the 24th. THinking of adding a catch can

Picked it up thursday and so far its a great car! I'll post pics up asap.
Had the windows tinted which really make a difference.
Its a really fun car to drive, quick enough that you can get into trouble and the ride is firm , but not over bearing like our Bmw z4 m was.
The turbo spools quick , really enjoying this car.
I will say, the stereo is less than appealing though. But that can be attended to. The car is really tight for 90k . One rattle in the right rear by the speaker, only does it when the speaker hits a certain tone/tones. Have to have a go with sorting that out.
