I'm looking to mix things up a bit with my new Clubman S. Any thoughts on what color mirrors might give it some "pop" ?

 

Green will give you that awesome R55 Rally look!

 

The thought has certainly crossed my mind. However, that shade of green seems to vary considerably based on the lighting. Sometimes it looks just a little too "lime" .

 

Kinda digging the yellow.

 

Orange! Then add an orange pinstripe to your stripes.

 

For some reason, I'm starting to gravitate toward the red.

 

How hard is it to come across a set of JCW red mirrors ?

Well, now that I have seen green done twice it would be less unique for you.

With the silver stripes on the car...red or orange would be my choice.

 

Plastidip them for a fraction of the cost and you can change the color at a drop of a hat if you don't like them.

 

Silver or Black Jacks mirror caps will match your silver strips!

 

Please do not plastidip!!!

 

Why?

 

Because it is cheap assed crap that, on the mirrors, will start to look even worse within a couple of weeks. The man wants his MINI to look good. Please Johnny Danger, buy and install quality parts, not plastidip or chinese made junk off of Ebay even if it takes a little while to save the money.

 

Don't worry I won't. However, I do think that PlastiDip can provide a desirable effect in some applications. But, mirrors in my opinion are not one of them.

 

Plastidip will give you the desired effect for 7 dollars or there abouts. Once you figure out the color then buy your mirrors. This will save the o **** moment where you dropped a bunch of $ on something that you Dont like. Maybe I should have been more specific.

IF I had the ching, I'd do the handles, and mirrors in carbon fiber.
Red is also cool
If you do red, do a blood red, and match the stripes?

+1 (in my totally biased opinion) The colored union jack scuttles are a nice way to tie in the accent color too.
