Rally Clubman - DIY Edition

I didn't know the Rally Clubman existed before i bought my Clubman used off a dealership lot, but apparently it was already optioned very closely (cosmetically). Member "Black_Sharpie" was selling his green pieces, so i had to buy them to finish up the look. What do you guys think? Still missing the roof basket, but it won't sit in the same position since i have the OEM roof bars instead of the rails. The green accents will be enough for me.

Yah, i realize the Rally Ed had 17" R90's (or similar?), but i prefer my R113's just fine

I totally agree, your wheels look great. The OEMs were actually black R98s (I edited my post afterwards), They don't seem to be available online anywhere. I might try calling the dealership.

On the to-do list

Need to recoup from all the holiday spending. Hopefully by this summer it'll sit a bit lower. Thinking of going with NM springs.

Looks great! I just (in Nov) bought my first Mini! It was/is number 33/70 of the Rally Ed's that came out in 2010. Absolutely love it! Wife and kids want Mini's, now....have all the green bits and roof basket. Nice to find other owners that like the Rally Edition.

Very nice! I like the Red caps. Hard to tell, but are your side scuttles the regular Union Jack? Are you also lowered? If so, what's your setup?

Everything looks great. Shoot those amber reflectors with some Matte Black paint and it will look super clean. I LOVE the Rally Edition R55. I have the mirror caps and stripes, waiting for my scuttles and basket

Just too bad i can't find the clear reflectors and then smoke them. Why is it so hard to find clear reflectors for our cars???

Yeah I still don't understand why they don't exist. So far the easy solution for me on both MINIs has been to shoot them with a rattle can in flat black. They blend right into the black plastic fender flares.

I simply used a smoke tint. Looks super clean. Look at the thread on " Fun with 3m 1080" Nate shows how they are used.

Rally.... oooh... me like....

When I order mine, it's going to be as rally looking as possible. There's something about that rally look...

I know some states require the reflectors to actually be god awful yellow-orange. I remember when I bought clear corners for my GTP they had a label that said "for off road use only." That may be why nobody seems to make them.

I believe the scuttles are standard. The Rally green ones are in a box. The car looks lowered might be the tires. Wheels are 18". I can see the rear springs say H&R and the car came with stiffer rear stabilizer bars by the same manufacturer. Sorry for delay in response I've been on vacation. Love that darn car.....my wife was bummed I came home when I did...she thought she had the car for an extra day!

Didn't take any pics with the scuttles. I still have to put back on the front grill, mount the basket etc. Posted this before:

Thanks man. I bought it from BodyShopSupplies on eBay. Great service. The color is not exact but its pretty close. Here is the exact item I bought:

Here is a pic from today. Still have to assemble a few things. The black JCW front grill trim is gone, went back to chrome.

Are you running spacers on your wheels?
Everything looks good.

Thanks! Yes 15mm hubcentric Adaptec spacers all around. Really makes the Clubbie look "full".
