Any recommendations on what kind of after market hitch set up I can get for my 2011 Clubman? I am trying to get an idea of where else I can look besides minifini or curt. Thanks!

 

I am sure that Hidden Hitch dealers or U haul dealers have hitches to fit. I put a hidden hitch on my Mini, the one where the hitch receiver is behind the license plate. I personally don't like seeing a hitch exposed below the bumper.

I put hidden hitch from them on my 2011 Clubman and it is sweet! If you search the forum, you will find different posts on how to install DIY and or solve license plate/hitch cover after install. I use mine all the time for my bike rack...

 

And I'll add a vote for MINI DO MORE! Not some big corporation stealing your $$. He's a MINI enthusiast like the rest of us.

There are other threads from previoous discussions on hitches. Mine is a U-haul hitch, about 1/3 the price of the Mini*-* versions, and is also a behind the license plate style. I posted photos on one of the earlier threads.

I've got the MDM on my Clubman and it works great. I don't recommend the Curt as they directly ripped off MDM.
