JCW Aero Kit arrived!

Went back and forth and said screw it, I know I want it, so got the best deal I could get and pulled the trigger. It arrived today and when I drove to the dealership in my Clubman, I had apprehension about whether all of it would fit in one trip(it comes in a huge box and crated 0.o). Anyways it does fit!(good info for those picking it up) and it's all ready to be put on. I am planning to install tomorrow DIY as dealership wanted an arm and a leg to install it. Came pre-painted and should be simple enough. Woohoo! Pics will be up as soon as I'm done!

Very nice! Did you have to take anything out of the box to fit?

I had to take everything out. There's no way that the box would fit(even if I took it off the crate).

Mind sharing where you found a good price and how much better it was?

@Day177017: It's still in the Clubman. I'll take it and post in a while ;p
@Dark: Paid $1850 for the whole kit(prepainted). Just call your local dealer, mine price matched what I could find online.

Yep! Main reason why I did it. And don't have to bother with getting local body shop to paint(they quoted addl $800 for the paintjob too so double savings!)

That's the best price i've heard. I got lucky and mine was already on the car. If i ever buy another MINI, i'll have to buy a new kit.

So, which vendor did you price-match it to?

Sewell but the cost for shipping the big crate was obnoxiously high(no fault on their part since it does come in a huge package). I was surprised my dealership bit since they're notorious for not dealing. If you are able to pick up from Sewell, their 15% discount would have put the kit at around 1750 iirc(plus your nam discount)

I put mine on myself, it's really easy! Took a couple hours and about a six pack and it was done.

Me too.. Although, no six pack as it was cold winter in underground garage... I did it in stages, starting with side skirts. Every week one part. Just to make it interesting...

Seems the Fully Painted JCW Aero Kits versions are back and available for ordering on a MINI...I checked yesterday when looking into a Justa with Aero kit, JCW Suspension, which should look killa. Since the JCW Suspension kit is installed at the dealer, would have some new lowering springs on hand and get it done one shot !
