I have had people call my mini cute.
Kids thought the checker flag was for a punk rock mini look

I figure let people underestimate the car- the advantage is mine

 

In my hardtop I used to get these "cute" comments fairly often. Now that I drive a cabrio I get them almost daily. whether its a sarcastic comment from guys in a mustang (which I of course had to show up once it turned green) or a legitimate comment from a miss I usually just have fun with it. I figure I can get angry or laugh at it and add some joy to their day (and mine for that matter). when it comes to the "manly men" in their big trucks and condescending remarks on my tiny car, I usually just bring up the idea of compensation

 

My car is cute.... it's a chick magnet.

 

Keep up the positive attitude. A crusty old gal I used to work with always said: "He can just get glad in the same pants he got mad in". On the other hand, I decided a long time ago to just stay angry. That way I can avoid the stressful mood swings.

The way I see it, the design of the MINI is fundamentally cute. You can put on an aerokit, black out trim, and a loud exhaust. You can also put lipstick on a pig...

 

It could be worse - my brother-in-law bought a red Abarth and was told "it looks like a jelly bean" and was not happy. He really wanted a John Cooper Works MINI but felt the cheaper Abarth was the way to go – until the jelly bean comment.

 

That is soo funny , now i dont feel too bad about people saying that my cooper is cute but i am sure to go berserk if they called it a jelly bean.

 

I've been driving Miatas for almost 14 years. Get used to it.

 

I've driven a bunch of cars lately to see what my next toy should be, and the most fun was the miata. All these Bro's with their lifted trucks hating on small cars just don't know what they're missing.
