I was trying to change the bulb in my 2008 mini clubman sport and broke the reflective plate that moves the headlamp up and down when the car is turn on. Also is locks the headlamp in place so when you go over a bump it doesn't shack. Is there a way of just replacing this part and not having to buy a whole new headlamp assy? I was thinking of trying to take off the cover and glue it back together.

Any advice?

I want the old broken assembly if you want to get rid of it. Please....

 

Replacement of the assembly is really the only way to make sure that it works properly. Any glueing of the part may fail and cause you other problems like melting of the housing.

 

Okay then, does anyone know where I can find a replacement for a decent price?
