Ever since winter began, anytime I'm over 40mph, there's whistling from both driver and passenger sides seals. Can't really pinpoint it. Anyone experiencing this? Last winter, when Chestnut was new, no such whistling, so I would't think it's normal.

Not heard of this but anything is possible. Have you had any work done on the windows I.E. re-programed or something like that?

OR maybe the gaskets are just vibrating against the glass and causing a squeak. I used to have this on my BMW 5 series and putting a little Vaseline on the gaskets cleared it right up.

Thanks for your reply. Sure, the auto dip stopped (typical) and it's been programmed and function without issue for more than 6 months. Worth it or not, this morning, I auto-down each window and auto-up while holding each button for a few more seconds. Will see if any consequence.

It's definitely not a glass vibrating against the seal noise. It's definitely wind whistle.

I experienced this in my Clubman S and just chalked it up to not exactly being a "quiet" car, lol.

SAME exact squeak happens in my 02 Mini. I've found it seems to be coming from the door panels. When I press on the screw closest to the seat on either side the squeaking stops. Not sure if the panels need to be tightened down because someone did work on the windows once? I just have yet to try it. But see if putting some pressure on the bolt/screw inside the panel helps the noise temporarily....
