Clubman, 2008 or 2010?

Hello again!
As time came closer, down to about a couple of weeks, to go order my Cooper Clubman base model, Hot Chocolate, fog lights and Bluetooth for, hold on to your seats, $29,995 ($9,000 in taxes: everything is more expensive here in Puerto Rico) I saw a beautiful Mellow Yellow 2008 Clubman with 19k for $23,000. It's a semi automatic, has fog lights and leather seats, and I am confused! $7,000 is a lot of money.
Among you lucky Mini owners, any 2008 owners can tell me about their Mini troubles if any?
...or any other thoughts are welcomed.
Thanks,
Joh

That still seems high. I bought a 2008 Clubman S with 6K miles last year for 22,500. But to your question, I've had no regrets or problems. I don't think there are any major changes in the year models. If you are happy with the car and the price, go for it.

I've had no regrets with my February 2008 Clubbie. But I'd lobby for the hot chocolate. Yellow might be nice for tropical climes however. Other than the roof rails, there's no big difference between 08's and 10's.
I lived in P.R. for three years back in the 70's, and drove a Honda motorcycle all over. If I lived there now, I'd have a Mini for sure. Qué Chevere!

No regrets here. I found my low mileage 08-BRG clubman s (full equipped) for $24.5K last December so decided not to order a new one!
Price looks a little high, but I think you can bring it down (I negotiated a 3K reduction on mine)

hi all,
I am looking to buy a 2010 clubman. For those with issues, are they relating to transmission type and engine type? I mean issue between cooper s and non-s version. Tia.

Well, thanks for the info!
I agree about the price. We'll see if we can negotiate.
Let's see what happens!
Thanks again!
