Myself and the wife are getting stationed over to Germany (Kaiserslautern) - (as you can tell - military), in the next few weeks and was wondering if there are any other mini enthusiast over in that region. I will be bring my Mini Clubman S over there and my wifes BMW 335I (should be arriving there now on the boat). Would be great to meet up with you guys to talk about the cars and go traveling through out Germany. And last but not least, does any of you guys out there in the Clubman world by chance have a rear compartment cover that covers the rear area and sides for animals or cargo up for sell? Please let me know... Thanks....

Welcome to Germany! I have been stationed in the K-town area for about year and a half. So far it has been my best duty assignment. Driving my MINI Clubman on the autobahn and on the many twisting and curvy roads has been a blast! I do not know of any local MINI groups, but I can tell you that there are a lot of MINIs over here. Maybe you could start a group up, once you get settled.
