Door Panel Removal
I want to install new speakers in a MCC. I have a lot of threads about door panel removal, but they are not directed at a Clubman and in particular they do not address the clubman door or the drivers side rear speaker.
Does anyone have directions on door panel removal and dealing with the rear speakers in a Clubman? Somebody must have done this already...
Also, what is procedure for removing the sill plates so as to run wire underneath?
Thanks
Dennis

Im not sure about the doors panels, but I can help you with the Sill Plates...
DO NOT REMOVE THE SILL PLATES!! you will break every clip removing them.
Remove the lower kick panel that is left of the pedals and is around the hood release.
DO NOT REMOVE THE SILL PLATES!! you will break every clip removing them.
Remove the lower kick panel that is left of the pedals and is around the hood release.
- Remove the "lower kick panel" that extends to the back of the door.
- It is on the INSIDE of the car
- Gently start at the kick panel by the pedals
- Get your fingers behind the panel and pull. The plastic clips will release
- Work your way towards the back of the door.
- When you get to the seam in the plastic an all clips are released, slide the kick panel towards the front of the car and remove
- Make sure all white plastic clips are off of the car. replace them in the slots on the kick panel.
- Start at back by sliding the kick panel in
- snap each clip in
- Pull rubber weather strip back over top of kick panel. I use a plastic screw driver and slide it back on.
