I'm under the impression that the key fob will remember the "preferences" one sets when they program the on board computer (OBC). If that is true, is there a way I can program my spare key fob without having to go thru the setup routine again? The reason I need to use the second key is that it needs to be charged every so often.

Bummer...I was hoping for an easier way.

 

You will have to go thru all the programing steps yourself . I had the dealer try to do a copy as thye said they could but after 9 attempts it still had not worked.
