Oh no, the Hoff drives a Mini!

And I KNOW Vitamin Water does NOT fit in the cupholders.

Wow, I was impressed until I saw Britney. That was just embarrassing.

If you check it out, there's a link on the side that says "Hot celebrities and their hotter SUVs"

...they apparently don't know much about marketing to like minded individuals!

One bone to pick with the article:
"The Hoff rolls in a Mini, although word has it he spells it M.I.N.I"
I sent them an email to let them know that it's spelled MINI and not Mini. It defies the English language since the word written in all caps would indicate it's an acronym for something. But that's MINI for you. At least they don't use an unpronounceable symbol as a name.

Could Hof is making an editorial statement about his career:

M.I.N.I. = "Maybe I'm not interesting"

Ya think it might be a riff on K.I.T.T. ?

Umm...

"The Hoff rolls in a Mini, although word has it he spells it M.I.N.I., and says it stands for Mobile Inter-National Icon...not sure if it refers to himself or the car."

If you look, it has the LED bar in the grille like his old car K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider.

Basically it's the Hoff being full of himself, not a misspelling.

You should spend more time keeping up with useless pop culture and less time sending angry emails

I wasn't referring to what the Hoff said, I was referring to what the article called the MINI over and over. They kept spelling it Mini and not MINI.

Oh, and trust me. I know plenty of useless facts about pop culture. It comes in handy at random trivia games, but not so handy when watching Jeopardy.

Since this is about big-name owners, does anyone know if the following own a MINI?
Daniel Craig

Keira Knightley (she remarked in an interview that she always wanted one. She could probably afford 20 of them!)

Simon Pegg

Rhona Mitra

Elizabeth Hurley

Hugh Grant

Guy Ritchie (I know he owned one but did Madonna managed to take his MINI from him in court during their divorce?)
