Plastidip stripes? 0.o

So, it seems plastidip is being used for everything these days. So has anyone tried plastidip-ing stripes? It would be mighty simple to get perfect stripes. Just cover the other areas(kinda like painting really) and spray on multiple coats. Don't like it? Just peel them off- should be easier than vinyl decal removal.

Only challenge will be leaving a clean edge... because when you mask, pulling up the masking also pulls the plasti-dip off the paint if it's dry... and xacto'ing along the edges up and down your bonnet is a high risk proposition.... perhaps you could mask for each coat, and quickly remove the mask while the coat was still mostly wet... just guessing, would take some experimentation...

I would assume you would pull off the tape as soon as one coat is done. Similar to plastidip-ing the door handles?

interesting idea. im sure it'd work, but i bet it'd peel from the edges the minute you wash the car, as the paint is pretty smooth... the edge would catch easily. The stuff is amazing though...did my front grill surrounds last night
