OK, I read all the responses so far.
I am still of the opinion that the net we get in the US with the Clubman is the worst feature of this otherwise beautifully designed car. I'm sorry. I just don't get it. At least you can slip a bottle of wine in the pocket of the nets that come with the coupe. I've found no convenient use so far for the net I got with my clubbie.

I ordered this option; all of the attachment points are supposed to be installed. When (if? ) mine ever escapes the black hole of the UK domestic distribution system, will be happy to post pictures and let you know if it is worth the cost.

The net that started this thread is NOT the net that comes in the back of the clubman it is a Special Net that runs from the Floor to the Ceiling just behind the front drivers and passenger seats. It is not available in the US and Canada at this time.

Actually the Boot Net is very useful. I use it to hold my dogs leash, Boot Box, Cleaning Towels, Camera, and from time to time many other items from sliding around and making bumping noises while driving. It makes perfect sense to have one. I wish i have one for my BMW wagon. Some other friends have also gone out an bought something similar for use in the trunks of their cars just from seeming mine.

From some reading i have done is sound like they may have to change the headliner so that they can mount the "hooks".
Can you comment on this.

I am told it is a Europe only option. From what I can find, you are likely correct about the attachment points but will have to see for myself; standing by to stand by (for a blue MINI-less Christmas)
