R55 I have my production #, how long now?
There is a thread in 1st on tracking your Mini.
Congrats, our Clubman S just got on a boat today for a long cruise through the Panama Canal to the VDC in Port Hueneme.
Having the production number will let you track it. You need to register on Mini's Owner Lounge. Then you can follow your car's progress.
If it's coming through the Panama canal, be sure to keep an eye on their web cam. This is my Mini coming through.

Call ASK MINI ask for week and production date. The production week and date is when your car is finished. The closer you car gets the harder the wait. Tracking the ship can be fun but waiting to get it from the VDC sucks.
Good Luck
Just my .02 cents.
I had my production number before i left the dealer, the same day i ordered it. It then took 5 weeks to pickup date.
Others have ordered the car and had to wait as much as 2-3 weeks to get a production number. what this means is that the dealer is taking orders with out having production slots available and hoping that they can pick one up somewhere along the line.
When you find out what production week you are in then you can figure approx 3-10 days to get on the boat, 5-6 days for the east coast and 12-18 day for west coast delivery then from 2-15 days at VDC depending on how busy they are and if there was any damage in route. Then 1-5 days trucking time to get it to the dealer. Then a day or two for the dealer to get it ready for pickup.
But, congrats on your order and hope the wait is on the shorter side.

Here is the thorough thread rasputinj mentioned that has all the information that you will need to track your MINI: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=144057

It may even take longer for shipment. Especially if the dealer snags a production slot that was originally meant for another country. That is what happened to me. Built in 9 days from order, sat on the dock for over a week and then got stuck at Greer for an extra time waiting for a truck to take it to Pittsburgh. It was supposed to arrive at the dealer on 9/16 and just made it this morning. I get it a week later than originally planned.
Ordered 6/7.
Prod number 6/9.
Production started 6/10. (This is the key kickoff date. The previous two events enable this step, but the clock truly starts here.)
Ready for delivery 7/8.
Picked up 7/12.
This is a little faster than Schatzy's estimate, but I think my experience was abnormally quick at 4 weeks. His 5 weeks + or - seems to be pretty typical.

I ordered my wife a Chili Red/Black Clubman S at the beginning of September and received a tracking number the same day, but the Owner's Lounge tracking link still says it's "scheduled for production" which I presume means that they haven't started building it yet, even though three weeks has passed since I ordered it.

Thanks, I will....
Even though The Owner's Lounge still says that my Clubman S is "scheduled for production" I called ASK MINI today and it's actually finished production and scheduled for transport to the dock for shipping to the US. It pays to call ASK MINI because The Owner's Lounge is not up to date on the current status of the cars.
Great news! What color pillars did you choose? Bonnet stripes? Roof rack? I'm trying to live vicariously through you!
Hello all. Waiting and wailing with all of you. I ordered mine on Aug 21 and got the production number in a couple of days. It FINALLY showed up as "scheduled for production" this past weekend. Since I am in NY (yeah, a New Yawka), my wait should not be horrible but I am considering jumping into the ocean here and meeting my Mini along the way. (Did I mention that I'm just a LITTLE nuts?)
I took advice from above post and called Mini. Looks like I'm on for week 40 or 41 which translates to the end of Sept or the beginning of Oct. At least now I won't feel the need to check the web site every hour. It would be great to get the car in time for a fall follage ride-but??? Dan
