Oh that's terrible Mr. Ray - and if you live in New Jersey it must be driving you around the bend to wait, knowing it's right there...but keep the faith, they're probably removing all that cosmoline and polishing your roof rails. My bet is that you'll be that $5 winner!

My ship arrived 9/13 sat, VDC closed Sunday, Monday night I called and was told Wednesday maybe (my MA was busy),Tuesday(my MA is off) I drove to dealer and met truck driver who said they were held up in customs, Ships arrived MON, TUE, WED and another FRI. MY ship on SAT had 275 MINIS + BMW. I spoke with my MA WED afternoon best they could offer was any day now. Out of the 275 on 9/13 they were expecting 20 cars they have received 2. The ETA on delivery is next day after they get it. I guess the worst part is its 11 miles down the road and I cant get it and I cant see it. BTW I told the MA not to drill the bumper and I ordered the tow mount bracket last night for the front plate.
NOTE: I havent seen a bear in 2 years until your mishap at the dragon current count since then 15 my adopted daugter say that after I get my MINI that I have to watch out for near sighted momma bears as they might think Im takeing one of her cubs!

Errrr not something you can do in thease parts since the eary 80's.

Dealer had 10 09's on his lot mine wasen't amoung them and no racks on them. Unless mine is hidden in the garage (it has no windows). I'll try again tomorrow.

You both have shown picture of what we already have not the new "Roof Rails" as the OP requested so there is no money to go around yet.

Was at my dealer over the weekend and they have not had one come in yet with Roof Rails but are actually awaiting one that should be in sometime this week. As they are 1-1/2 hours away i doubt I will be getting there to win the prize.

But 07BPB the clubman looks neat with the wood but where is the rest of it the trim pieces that is.

Edit took a closer look and the trim is actually there it is just very light.

 

Nope you guys - that's the base roof rack, but I now see that the title of this thread should have read "factory roof rails" because I know that's what Coopdy actually meant. Sorry about that $5 prize. Nice pix and video, though.

 

Haha, yeah I haven't found a picture of the rails but I know what you are talking about. Be sure to post pics when you have it.

 

 

Hey maybe thats whats holding the cars up at the VDC they dont no how to get the cosmoline off the roof rails. I saw a BMW X3 with Roof Rails and a factory rack simular to the mini clamped to them, so I kinda think that the rails will be the same style that BMW'S use.

 

Nine days at the VDC? I'd have lost my marbles.

Inskip MINI has a set in Rhode Island - Mine Sadly, I am booked all day today, and probably tomorrow, so won't get to see/pay for/drive it for a bit. We'll see if my MA is willing and able to send a photo for all to enjoy.
