My Baby's coming early!!!

Alright, so we're not having a "real" baby (although we did have one earlier this year), but our CR/S Clubman is coming tomorrow! This is quite the surprise since the Owners Lounge said it was still "En Route."

I'm sooooooooo excited! Will be sure to share pictures of our new addition soon

Once my car got to the port, the Owner's Lounge update was almost useless.

Congrats on the early delivery!

Parker, congrats.
The Owners Loung is outdated by at least 4 days.
Mine arrived just like yours.

Read the manual tonight.

When you pick your baby up, make your sales pig program the key fob for you. It's done with the fob in the ignition slot and your Mini will remember specifics for each fob.

Check out the two sub-levels in the boot. Familiarize yourself with your spare or no spare if an S.

Our baby's finally home!!!

Sorry for the poor cell phone pic I took this morning before leaving for work, but I was basically up most of the night fiddling with *****, switches, and anything else I could push.

Introducing "Rocket" (named after the rocket ship from the kids show "Little Einsteins")

Parkerton, my MA programmed my key fob to lock the doors after a few seconds of driving and for the blinkers (two different styles).

Question: I tried to program mine, but wanted to ask...it appears I need both fobs to do it, is that right? One stays in the ignition and the other to press the buttons?

One question, how do I find the order number or VIN for the car? I placed an order for my Clubman three weeks ago and just last night found out about production tracking. I searched my order form and it doesn't have either number.

Call your MA. He/she should have your production order number. You won't get your VIN until your MINI is closer to actually being produced.

Also, do license plates come automatically from the DMV, or do I need to do anything after I buy the car to get them?

Sorry, I just saw this Lady G... No I believe each key can be programmed separately. So if you want it to do one thing and another person doesn't care for that feature. There's something that was in my package (glovebox material) that explains some of the programmable features.

Sorry for taking so long on the pics, folks. I've been waiting to replace my stock 15" inch wheels before posting pics. So without further ado....here's "Rocket" (named by my son - from the show Little Einsteins)

Very nice and I think those wheels look very good - what kind are they?

Congratulations on the new arrival!

Thanks folks!

As for the wheels, I've gotta give credit to "N2HCKY" for turning me onto those wheels. They're 17" Momo Corse RPM's
