Picked her up today!

British green/black roof.
tinted windows.
tuesday will have stereo upgraded to JLAudio in doors and Infinity basslink sub in boot!

pretty awesome...ordered june 11.

quick question...i have the piano black / anthracite headliner.

the one plastic piece on the airbag / a pillar on the passenger side is grey...everything else is black... is that right ?

kinda ruins the vibe

Beautiful!!

I think when you have time, take it back to the dealer and have your MA check out the interior. It doesn't sound correct.

pic of offending piece is attached...

digi0123, the stereo upgrade will be about $ 800 to add the sub, the doors, and labor...

coulda got labor alot cheaper at bestbuy, but with a brand new car, i decided on the specialty place...

Are you amping the interior and sub on the same amp or two amps or no amp for interior, if so do you have the hifi and are just running the new JLs for the doors? Lastly on that...which models?

PS, always go to a shop...they typically care more about your car and will work better deals.

Great lookin' clubbie -- congrats.

Hope you're out motoring and not able to read these replies!

I'd love to know if there's a story behind that odd grey part. What a strange error.

yep,my MA just shook his head and took me over to parts. the correct black piece is being ordered.

also, did the stereo upgrade today.

took the shop from 10am till 7pm for some reason, but it's done.
cost of install and parts, was $350.

JL audio 6.5" and 4" to replace the fronts with head unit power driving them, and the basslink II in the boot. volume **** velcro'ed in by the usb port.

pretty amazing difference !
i'm sure it'll get better when the JL's burn in

thanks for the help
and
happy motoring!

Pretty funny about the wrong colored pillar. Seems like a hard thing to miss in production? I love the piano black / anthracite headliner combo on my clubman.

Can you posts pictures of the sub in the boot? And did you have the hifi stereo to start with?

Can you post pics of how good its sounds? Maybe just your facial expressions while listening to it?

The quality control guy over in Oxford must have been drinking a Guiness when he checked your MINI!

pillar color

now i'm worried. my clubman is in transit... on the ol. status screen all of the features I ordered are spec'd correctly, except there is no indication of rear pillar color. should the pillar color appear on the factory option list?

Were you able to fit the basslink in the spare tire spot, or is it in the luggage space?
