just came back from 500 mile trip from phila, pa to albany, ny in my new clubman s had a blast it is a seriously fast car was doing about 75-80 mph the whole way. was getting about 37.5 mpg. was very comfortable except for the the thigh support was horrible it killed my thighs it is so tight. has any body experianced this ? i don't think i could take this trip again due to this problem. i also took my wife and 2 children . we had no problem with the seating or space.

So, you have the regular seats. You are, I'm sure, aware that the raising or lowering of the seats does effect the tilt of the seats..and of course that you can change the angle of the seat back, too. I have the "leatherette" seats...and don't notice any bolster effect...but my guess is that the length of one's legs has a lot to do with how the seat hits one's thigh.

Hope you can figure out a seat tilt/height/back angle combination to make it work!

There is also the fat *** factor. Maybe aftermarket seats.

This is the single reason that I did not get the S. During my test drives, I was very comfortable with the side bolsters (up top) of the sport seats, but the side supports on the bottom just grabbed me the wrong way. And I am not that wide a person.

The standard seat should be an option on the S.

WeeBemr - Can we please check the snarky comments at the door? The OP was looking for some assistance and I don't see that coming in the posts that you have made to this thread.

Evidently the others in the thread were looking for help or they wouldn't have contacted me given your comments. Either help or move on to somewhere else on the site where you can contribute to the discussion.

If your founder's sense of moral authority has no room for humor, GFY and remove me from your site...I'll stick just to my Club where humor is 50% of posts...not just wannabe back-yard mechanics.

Given that you have no posting history on the site, jumped into this thread, made your comments, other posters in the thread reported your posts, it appears to me (and obviously the others)that in order to deliver things as jokes you should build up a bit of rapport with people so that they get to know you are joking. I don't know you, you don't know me, you don't know the people in the thread, and they don't know you. Ease into the joking after first being helpful as well as using the emoticons to convey your humor.

Usually GFY warrants immediate removal from the site but I believe in 2nd chances so if you are game then let's start over.

To lighten things up a bit... I love the sport seats, I find them very comfortable and supportive. I'm a small girl so I find this car fits me very well, my hubby is a bit on the bigger side and tall too and also finds the seats are very supportive and comfortable. I did learn from my 05 MCS that it was hard to find the "just right" combo of seat controls and I hated it when anyone changed them because then you have to find that perfect combo again. Hopefully there is seat memory in the Clubman, if my 05 had it I don't remember. But I would recommend playing with the controls like Otra mentioned above.

That's funny, follow the thread and everyone did a private or posted LMAO except you. People did not require a lifetime aquaintance with Mark Twain, Shaw or even Groucho to appreciate humor the first time. You're just a self-important martinet whose mini-power has gone to your cerebellum. I get paid for humor at the New Yorker and Vanity Fair. As for your second chances, you pretentious Napoleon, here goes: GFY TWICE and THEN AGAIN. I will WEB another competitor site just for fun and spite.
