Hot Choc Interior?

Clubman is on order, last part we are wrestling with is interior trim/seating.

Thinking tuscan beige, piano black and cream, $1000 net difference. Think the contrast would look sharp w/the Hot Choc exterior, any thoughts on whether it is worth it, etc..?

Will that look silly w/the standard liner or do we have drop another $250 to make it click?

If you have any other ideas, let's hear them!

Tuscan beige is beautiful but the HC Lounge is extra-special. I'd go for the HC Lounge in full leather.

Anthracite headliner is a must!

Anthracite headliner - Terry and folks on other threads tout this, is it just a fancy name for Black or dark grey? What is the standard, light grey? I tried doing a search on thread topics on the word Anthracite w/o luck, any help would be appreciated.

It is indeed dark grey. The stock, light-colored headliner looks bad with the HC interior, trust me. I realize that color is the most subjective of all options but the combo does not look good.

Terry

Roger that, if I end up in Tuscany w/the Beige - will that fly? I do not have the sun roof.. not sure if that matters.

On the test drive, I had the sun roof on the Clubman S and even w/the screens, it was too bright and distracting w/sunglasses on. There was not a cloud in the sky... Asked about something that would block the light, like a standard sliding solid screen... the MA said that I could get something aftermarket ($$).

I think w/the sunroof, I would definitely want the darker headline to soak up the light, since I do not have it, maybe I do not need it?

The headliner will not soak up heat, it will be the exterior roof color that will help or hurt the most. We will receive our car within a week or so and plan on immediately giving the sunroof a dark limo tint. If you like the sunroof, get it! You'll have options to reduce the heat as there are also some aftermarket coverings that are available. I'll have to hunt for that site though.

As far as headliner color, I've given you my two cents, you really need to find some pics or see it in person to help make your decision.

I got the Tuscan/Eng Oak/Cream. Standard headliner. That interior is drop dead gorgeous, let me tell you. VERY classy. I saw it on a Sparkling Silver CooperS at the dealership, and it confirmed my order. I'll be getting mine by the end of the month and will post pics then!

I also paid for the Tuscan steering wheel, shifter and ebrake (with boots). YUM!

Lady G - You sound like you are going to have a car that I would want to drive and look at.... Sounds sweet. I'm starting to wish I had gone with the Eng Oak...
