2 sightings yesterday: a laser blue/silver with a roof rack in downtown Burlington, VT yesterday early afternoon and a lightning blue between Stowe and Smugglers Notch at about 4 PM

 

Lightning or Laser blue/Black (couldn't tell which blue...it was in the shade headed the opposite direction and I was driving um...spiritedly )with a roof rack and a bike on top, heading East on I-26 near Landrum SC.

 

Wisconsin Ave, near National Cathedral, saw a Silver Clubman south bound, saw a red clubman parked on side street, the time was between 3:30pm and 4:30pm.

 

Today in old town St. Augustine I saw a LB/S Clubman. And I gotta wave.

 

Was driving on the 210 freeway in LA today heading to Pasadena. rasputinj and i (well, I really) spotted a silver/black Clubman on the opposite site of the freeway...took a mental picuture, but wasn't able to get the camera ready quickly enough...

 

Finally, spotted another Clubman while driving mine - a beautiful Sparkling Silver/Silver one making a right hand turn onto Playland Parkway in Rye, NY. For a minute I thought it was Alphawave!

Unfortunately, my camera was not at the ready and I couldn't snap a shot of it. The color combo really did look great!

 

The Silver/Silver is very nice looking indeed.

 

Had a Downtown MINI tag holder on the back. I was in the Lightening Blue also southbound with a Downtown MINI tag holder. Gave you a when you went by.....

I don't live too far from ya. I'm on the north side of Winter Garden and travel through Windermere all of the time. We'd love to see pics of your clubman.

 

They're multiplying! Spotted two more today - a LB/BLK S in our town and a CR/BLK beauty with stripes in White Plains, NY.

 

Saw a beautiful HC/B yesterday when I was out at lunch...super exciting! I haven't seen many here in SoCal, but will add one more in Oct/Nov when ours will be ready!

 

Hey Joep, thanks for the welcome. Just put 1700 miles on in 6 days and still getting used to it after having 2 JustaCoopers. Longer wheelbase, heavier and now an S. Will post a picture some day - Lightening Blue/Silver and hood stripes for now. Will keep an eye out for you. I run 535 most of the time to and from the mouse house.

Saw a PW/B Clubman yesterday driving through Landsdowne. I liked the color combo, but I was a bit unsure of the silver sport stripes the car was sporting.

 

Interesting color combo...we have a PW/B on order, but chose black racing stripes...not sure about silver ones?? I suppose 'to each her/his own'.

 

I'd like to see a picture of that. Very interesting...

I've seen PW/S with silver bonnet stripes, and it's gorgeous! But to have black bits and silver stripes seems odd...hmmmmm.

 

Yesterday was a banner day. I saw a NFR for the first time -- what a beautiful color. I saw that car again today -- it's home is right on my commute.

Also, I saw a HC/S at the grocery store. My daughters went nuts when they saw another clubbie. I've seen that car several times around the area, I think.

As an aside, it was also a better day for waves -- around 50% of the 12 or 14 Minis we saw waved. A couple even initiated!

Half the cars in front of Prestige Mini are Clubbies now. The invasion continues!

 

At one point I was going to build Elphie to be DS/B with black sport stripes on the bonnet and boot, and silver on the roof, but I thought it wouldn't work.

 

Yes I'm a member and acquainted with xanthus, Hollister, BillTheCat, Mungo, Agent99, MINI Marc, MINIbee, Philthy, FredZ, CTO3JCW, BenT and now Joep, to name a few.

 

Wow, we have similar taste... that's exactly what I originally wanted, but my hubby convinced me to go with the bonnet stripes because "they just scream MINI". But, I think the other way would have looked awesome!

Saw my very first *other* Clubman yesterday - ironically even though I drive about 600 miles a week, mostly on interstate routes (e.g. I see ALOT of cars), I saw my first Clubman while waiting in line at Dairy Queen - how ironic. Anyway it was a silver/silver combo S, but an auto! That's blasphemous!

I think we have great taste! We both love the Clubman! I wish one day I could see a Clubman in the ds/b with mixed sport stripes until then I have the car in my mind!
