Aww, yes, Yankee Stadium, many will miss it. And you are also correct that it's a beautiful time of year up here. Enjoy the photos when you have time - some people took some great ones and eventually there will be a video.

Now back to our regularly scheduled thread.

if Lurch ever takes on the challenge of organizing another Sunrise Run in Manhattan

i'll be a participant at many runs before that happens. I think 3 times was a charm for the Sunrise ... we would need to do a "boroughs" one if anyhting. I believe Paul (Turbomini) has something in the works.

This is ours, we had all the plastics painted to match the roof and mirrors

She only needs 18" wheels (maybe the R105's !! )

here's my addition:

i've had the car for about 2 months, but this it the first time i've had the car, a camera, nice weather, and a good background.

not the greatest of photographers by any means, but it's a start, right?

anyways, the rest of the set has been dutifully added to the flickr stream.

some shots are better than zero shots in my book

I like the looks and the shots look good from my view.

If you don't mind, what are your general impressions overall, any likes vs. dislikes... anything you have just noticed that you never did before that you find interesting, etc...

I like the silver, I think the silver really looks great w/ the blue... but then again, I'm a cowboys fan. .... so......... the silver and blue look good !

i guess it is kinda rude to post pics without a proper paragraph.

let's see, it's an 08 clubman s, lightning blue / silver with custom silver stripes. includes the blue colorline interior on the dash and doors, brushed aluminum accents on the inside, manual transmission, 16" bridge spokes, ipod/bluetooth hookup, heated seats, and duel sunroof.

in two months i've put about 3500 miles on it and haven't found a problem yet. granted i'm coming from a 1994 honda accord (automatic) so just about anything feels awesome. i've averaged 31-32 mpg (hand calculated) since i've gotten it which, for how much fun the car is, i won't be complaining about anythime soon. the only thing i'm iffy on is the silver trim around the back doors. the trim works on some colors and not on others. i don't think it's too bad most of the time, but i'm excited to see what it looks like in different colors. right now i'm looking for a place to make the top two trim pieces black (to match the a pillars) and the other three lightning blue (to match the body color). if i had any skill with photoshop i'd have a picture to look at, but alas, i do not.

i'm looking at installing a CAI and possibly some 18" summer wheels next spring.

I've got to say that the Lightening Blue does look great with that silver. Not sure I quite understand your design plans, but since I don't have any photoshop sort of software that's OK. I hope someone here can help you out. Glad you're enjoying the Clubman so much!

And thanks for adding yours to the Flickr Clubman stream, too: http://www.flickr.com/groups/mini_clubman/

New 2009 Clubman with Roof Rails

Just took delivery this past Saturday.

MC Clubman, Hot Chocolate Metallic with Black roof and pillars, 16 in. run-flats on Bridgespoke wheels, sport seats and center armrest, xenon lights, fog lights, factory ipod/bluetooth, and ROOF RAILS! When I added them to production order, I was told this was only 2nd Clubman to have new factory installed roof rails.

See photos in "welcome to NAM" - sorry for darkness - pouring rain this weekend.

PA Clubman

ps - how come, once I upload a photo in one forum, it will not let me upload it again in another formum?

I think that is the way it is on NAM - a photo seems to only be allowed in one place on the site. Perhaps you could supply a link to the post where you've uploaded the photos?

I really like the painted trim..
About how much did it cost to paint the trim a gloss black, if you do not mind sharing?

Matte black R105's would be perfect!

Classy, looks great!

hardingsan, I hear you about the trim around the door and have seen some great examples of ones painted to match the car. Though, I think that with your stripes it really helps to pull all the other silver parts together. let us know what you decide.

the only trim mods i've seen so far is black on black or silver on silver. i haven't been able to find any that match body color let alone blending the upper portions to black. i agree that for now the silver still matches in a way, but i think it'll make it look way clean and unique to boot. now i just need to find a way to take them off and someone to wrap them for a good price...

my first sighting of roofrails. they look good!

maybe its the way the light hits them, but it looks like the edge of the roof is replaced by them.

do you have any closeup photos of it?

Since these roof rails haven't been your obsession, you've clearly missed the $5 for a photo thread in which Mr. Ray posted a couple of very good shots: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...1&postcount=57

Otra,

Just figured out Flickr and uploaded my photos. Will try to get some close-up photos - especially roof rails - taken and posted. May have to wait until this weekend.

I really like them. Much more subtle than the roof rack

Are they as functional as the rack for bikes, kayaks and the like?
