Recently I've managed to find a set of black R112s with non run-flats.... bonus. I got them on just last week in time for the Fraserburgh Vintage Vehicle Rally on the 2nd June



Delighted to get the Best car on a club stand trophy, 1991 onwards....

I bought a 2012 S Clubman from a salvage auction and rebuilt it!

Unfortunately one of the crumple zones crumpled a little.

Starting the repair

All fixed withe fender and hood aligned.

All back together and registered back on the road!

Finally painting the hood after 8 months and 10k miles

Finally painted and polished!

The hood paint matches the car paint better than the used already painted fender I bought. This is the damaged side all fixed.

Hope you kept the Hampton Side Scuttles, pretty penny ea to replace!

 

I don’t have those anymore, but I’ve been lookin at getting new ones. The originals were pretty crusty when I bought the car, so they went pretty early on. I now have the black Justa LCI scuttles.

I know you posted this a year ago. But I need to ask if the “After” picture is a wrap?It’s poppin’ with the blacked out crome and fender lights. Very nice!

 

I asked this at the time. It's wrap. Amazing result, btw. I'm interested in knowing how's the condition after one year!

 

I would be interested to know that too, as well as maintaining the finish. I hear 3-5 years. I’ve considered wrapping my Clubby. However, I live in southern Cal and don’t know if the heat and thesun shorten the life span of a wrap.
