I wish to end this (since I began it..) but it was you yourself that told me you did not have any in stock....
Already bought an Alta...still believe you make good stuff though
Best of luck

I did not mean to pick on M7 since I have already said...they make good stuff...but the dealers spoken with all said their shipment was due any day...that was weeks ago! They also complained about shipping from the company being erratic at best...to name a few: Seven parts, Kass, or any other sponsor in NAM.....
SORRY Again. it is a nice product. I also like the M7 front strut brace...just liked the fitment of the JCW (but only at $250...Not 400) better
We have been shipping them since last week and several owners walked off with them this past weekend at the Monterey Historics. How many would you like us to send to you TODAY ? Next question please?

M7 = one of the best aftermarket companies I've dealt with. Period.
Haters must not have dealt with their counterparts in other market segments like the Subaru and Honda world. As with all things, I guess it's relative.

No worries
I've never talked to you before but perhaps you were thinking of someone else at the company. We do go out of stock briefly from time to time as any company will do. You just happened to pick a product that I know we have in stock at present as I sold several at the races. I am sure you will be happy with your second choice .

Here is the update. After going for a test drive with Steve and finally being able to duplicate the rattling, we isolated the problem to the cross brace on the USS. The brace in question is the one on the front of the three pieces, the longer cross brace. The one at the bottom of trapezoid.

This was evidenced by some new wear marks from the cat hitting the cross brace. I never had a problem with the USS interfering with the resonator. Maybe that is a MCS/Miltek/USS issue. My car is obviously an MCc.
Anyway, we have removed, for the time being, the offending cross member and the car has once again became quiet. No more rattles, no more vibrations. Steve from Steve's auto clinic will now try to CNC a notch in the brace to accommodate the cat. While I am sure it will compromise strength of the cross member, the constant rattling was really taking away from enjoying the car. If that doesn't work, I might just put the brace on when I go AutoX and such.
To bottom line it, I think the USS works as advertised. It does improve the car handling, but I wish I knew that it wasn't going to work a 100% with the equipment I already had in place before I bought it.

the mid brace or the rear of the trapezoid? Ours hit the Milltek on the midbrace and the factory resonator on the rear of the trapezoid....double whammy. It's off the car now and currently noise free.
