Third brake light replacement

I assume that t nlugs? If broke while replacing the trim

I'm interested too. Mine has a crack What did you buy to replace the trim? Mines I'm bad shape. I read somewhere you can spend $40 to $200. What are the options?.

I saved the money on buying the trim and just did a DIY, perhaps $40 vs $400+. On the light, would assume it plugs in but might have to remove the trim again.

Ok. Got the new light and makes the exchange obvious.

I’m still not sure how much good these trim pieces do with water intrusion. They seem more garnish than function

Was just going to send you to that thread, watch when you take it off sometimes the litte screws are rusted and the torx head screws can break. Yep, you can access it from between the trim. And then there is a little plug in the middle.

I have the rare clear version here and you can see the plug and how it looks removed. 63256961015 Those little holes are where the screws come through.
