Customizing settings

I see YouTube videos where the show how to customize some the settings using the display button on the turn stalk. None of these seem to get me into the menu. All I can do is scroll through the display screens on the tack but never get an option modify.

Is the 2008 incapable of driver choices?

can not be done on a GEN1

this was new with the GEN2

on a GEN1 all those neat options can only be changed by the dealer or someone with the fancy software. Expect a dealer to charge 1 hour of labor for any change. When I bought my 2 (new), the dealer provided one 'free' programming after delivery to give you a chance to decide. Later some dealers had a list of the options available so they could program everything b4 delivery.

You can reset the service counter with the stalk button, but that's about it.

Thanks. That's what I have found Judy wanted to confirm I hadn't missed something. For the most part the settings are what I would want. I just like the idea of the multiple turn lane flashes.
