I've read MANY post about this issue and mainly want to confirm I am experiencing what everyone else is or do I have something else going on. Recently installed the DMM CAI and since have been having what I would describe as a high pitch rattle - like I have a loose screw vibrating against metel. The noise comes when I either press on the accelerator or let pressure off of it at higher RPMs.

Is this what everyone is referring to as the annoying CAI whistle / whine? If so I agree it is very annoying. If not I will have to try to track down wherever the rattle is coming from.

I've read some possible solutions are the Detroit Bipass valve or VGS upgrade.

Ideas?????
