Nice pictures, that looks really good, done up in style.

How does it attach to the boot?

There are two mount points that are about 5X3 inches that mate to the boot on either side. That area is covered with a double sided tape. I have to tell you, I'd have to stand on the wing to get it off

There are also metal plates on the inside of the wings mount points. If your hard core you could screw through your boot and into the metal plate with some self tappers.

Really, the tape is more than enough to keep it on

Hey Rob (it is Rob, isn't it?) I was in SLC last summer/fall and joined you guys on a ride from the Zoo to Ogden.

Looks pretty nice. Do you notice any effect on dirt on either the boot or rear window? Looks like it blocks the center brake light a bit, but it's hard to tell from your pics. Can you take some with the top up?

Hey man! Yes it is Rob, I haven't had a chance to drive the car with it on yet so I can't tell you if it keeps the boot cleaner or not. I sprained my ankle last week and haven't been able to work the clutch. I'll let you know after I'm able to put some miles on it.

Here are some pics wit the top up

As you can see, the brake light does show through underneath

The wing was $399 + shipping with black gel coat finish ready to paint

He said on average it cost him $160 to paint. I lucked out and was able to buy one that he already had painted as a display for AMVIV

That's pretty cool. i wonder how it would look on a base Coop? How does it affect the boot opening, if at all?

I like the view from your house, too. Love those mountains!

I think he makes one for the base coop, have to ask him.
The boot opens like normal other than there's a spoiler attached to it

Ahhh the mountains, they make me feel safe! When I travel to states without them I get lost especially at night. I have no idea which direction Im going!

From this angle, it doesn't looks like it blocks the center brake light at all. Definitely keep us posted on the dirt issue once your driving again. Bummer about the ankle. A year ago January I tore my ACL. It kept me out of mine for a couple months after the operation. I don't know what was worse. Not being able to drive it, or knowing my wife was. I feel your pain

That looks GREAT!

great on your car and johnny's carbio!

I really want one, but 500? I guess I need to start saving

BTW, blocking the 3rd brake light scares me with big trucks behind... idk, I feel like they will come full speed into the back of my precious mini lol

I know it isnt blocked at that angle, but what about up higher?

Oh and pics of the boot open would be great!

Can you show the inside of the boot and the mounting point. I would like to see how it looks while open.

Sorry for not getting them up sooner guys

I'll grab a couple shots here in a bit. Showing the house this afternoon so its rush and clean time if you know what I mean..

Just so you know there are no holes or anything mounted from the inside of the boot out. No screws or holes. The spoiler is held on with double sided adhesive tape and its strong as hell.

I'll get some close up shots of the mount points to so you can see what's going on
