Used MCS conv't market

is any one here following the used car market for a 2006 MCSc ? I'm thinking about selling mine now and possibly get into a clubman later next year when the newer models comes out... is there still a high demand for my MCSc in So. Calif. market?

Doubt it in so cal anyhow. I just bought mine in Costa Mesa 2 weeks ago, a 05 w/ 34K on the clock and I paid $16,500, but I beat the guy up horribly on the deal. Its all in your negotiation skills

In NJ it seems that most of the MCSc are in the high teens and low 20's. You might try e-bay for sellingit, buyer pays the shipping.

We just picked up our 05 JCW vert (from California, sold to Seattle dealer) with 18,400 mi on it for $19k It had been sitting on his lot for 4 months. There's an 06 S here in Portland with about 35k miles that I've seen listed for months too :(

Sadly it just seems that people don't have the jobs, or job security to buy these toys right now.

I bought my '06 JCW convertible, fully loaded (everything but navigation), 66K miles, 4 months ago for $15.5K, which appeared to be about $9K below "market" -- if internet ads can be believed.

I've put feelers out to people with any black, preferably Jet Black, 2005-2007 MCS verts selling next year. I'll be looking to buy one for my gf. Has to be 6 speed, and the rest doesn't matter too much. She might go for DS though. I'm in SoCal.

$16.5k... if including tax & license, then awesome price.

What packages/options does it come with?
