I heard it makes even a bigger change on the cabrio then the coupe...
This is certainly true about the USS -- but I can't feel any benefit from the STB

well I took off the hood insulation completely and my hood is still bulging. I didnt think my strut towers were mushrooming at all but maybe I dont have an eye for it. I know when I had the pulley put in the weren't (about 3000k miles ago). Any other ideas? Is there any way to put the strut bar in wrong? It seems to be at quite an angle.

It seems to be at quite an angle.
That doesn't sound promissing.
An angle as in one side is higher than the other or as in one side of the bar is farther forward than the other?

How are the M7 plates sitting on the tower?

You'll probably get better input if you can provide pics. Maybe a close-up of each end and a wider shot showing the full bar.

Ok, reports of my being an idiot have not been exaggerated. I had the 2 side bars of the strut bar reversed causing the bar to have more of an angle then being flat. I reinstalled the bar and my hood doesnt hit. I did reinstall the hood liner and it did raise the hood. However I have not tried to wet it down or cut out the backside of it. For now I will leave it off.

M7=quality stuff

^ be sure to wrap the bar with plastic cling wrap before doing the wet-liner method. . . otherwise chemicals in the liner WILL discolor your bar (don't ask how I know).
