My hope is that the owner of that MINI is not hurt, and has not lost any friends or family, or lost their home, and the damage to their MINI is all they have to worry about.

Actually, the Mini doesn't look that bad. It might not be totaled.

This is exactly what I thought, too, Mishka. That, and I wondered if the MINI had passengers in it. Does anyone know?

Pretty sad when all you look for in a tragedy is if there was a Mini involved!?!

It's a bloody car, not someone's relative or friend. Society is in a bad way if we think damage to a MINI is somehow more important than the death of another human being.

Get help.
Dont you think you are overreacting to their comments just a little bit? This is a MINI forum, obviously thats what people are gonna notice, that doesnt mean that they arnt thinking about the people too. These guys are just staying on topic and talking about cars in a car forum. Take a deep breath and chill.

You are right I did come across a bit heavy handed. You'll be glad to know I have taken my medication and will lie down for a while.

Driving top down today, I nervously noticed every construction site, crane, and even heavy overhanging limbs in our neighborhood.

Just makes you glad to be alive.

Can't tell what color it is but it does have yellow bonnet stripes and also yellow boot stripes.
The New York Daily News reported that the brand new MINI belonged to a restaurateur who was in his nearby restaurant at the time. It was only 3000 miles/3 months old but at least he wasn't in the car at the time.
