Can you paint the black parts (wheel flares and rocker panels) without replacing them with the kit?

Welcome to NAM Frog!

I'll keep everyone updated. I will be producing one in the next few weeks and depending on how that goes, I might decide to give it a go for a few more.

Cabrio Wing

Brownflyer's next cabrio wing is going on my '06 MCS DS cabrio..
Why would anyone hesitate to drill holes for this beautiful wing??? Who would ever want to take it off?? Not me!!!

Keep in mind that you have to de-badge the rear to fit the spoiler... I loved the idea of this until I thought about that for a while - I love my MINI wings back there. Still, if you don't care about that, it's a super-nice piece...

Cabrio Wing

Already have that covered...the Mini wing emblem will move to the left side of the boot...will balance with the Cooper S emblem..

Cabrio Wing

I'm not sure if Ev (brownflyer) plans to make more Cabrio wings...I was fortunate to purchase the first one he made that has the brake light built into the wing. You can look for his post at this thread and PM or email him.
Good luck,
gaminis

Cabrio rear Wing

Just got em back from the paint shop today. Took the guy forever to get to them, but he only charged 60 bucks to paint & clear coat them (there are three pieces; the long boot piece and two pieces that go in the sides).
I'll take some pics when I install them. I'll probably make some sort of templates to get the holes right.

Brake Light

Brownflyer made mine. He incorporated the brake light into it. I plan to remove the OEM brake light and replace it with chrome trim.
gaminis

BTW..Don't know if he intends on making more spoilers. I'm very fortunate to have gotten one from him.

Hi Frank,
Trust everything is going well. I'm anxiously waiting your install of the spoiler. Please send me a pm or email as I have more info for you.

I will be at AMVIV this March. For anyone that wants to take a look at the spoiler, look me up and I will give you the grand tour. There will be a new little surprise....

Here is a quick update,
Frank (gaminis) has installed his 3 piece spoiler and can be viewed here:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=140201

Excellent work on the install Frank, and the paint is dead on. More pics please. If you need advice on eliminating the 3rd brake light just send me an email. Now that your MINI is out of the closet... mine will be next.

I installed the Erebuni on my 06 Cabrio S and had it painted. I think it looked pretty good. It definately helped keep the rear window clean. I now have a 09 R57 and want to put on another one.
