I finally installed (with a friend's help) the Cabrio spoiler that Brownflyer made for my '06 MCS Cabrio. At present, both third brake lights are functional..I haven't decided yet if I will delete the OEM light.
Brownflyer is a real craftsman, and I'm proud of the spoiler..
I agree with the "top down" theory, but I had just washed her, and couldn't put the top back yet...was in a hurry to send pics to Brownflyer...haven't had it on long enough to see if it helps with dirty butt...
Thanks for the "atta boys"...Brownflyer is da man!!!
I really love it. I saw brownflyer's yesterday and it really just finishes the back of the car to me. High quality piece, it really looks like it came on the car.
Not sure if Brownflyer will make another one. You'll have to ask him. At present, his and mine are the only two he's made. If he does make one for you, you certainly won't be disappointed.
Good luck,
gaminis
looking at the pictures in gaminis' gallery..that spoiler looks like a mini poppin it's collar. no offense..
looks awesome tho..if i had a cabrio i'd def want that..
Dang, Jughead...you scared me. I hadn't thought about the wing holding water, so I went out and turned on the hose. The water runs through the hatch door crack into the rubber gutter on the inside; just as it would without the wing...
I colored the brake housing resin with a blue dye as opposed to Frank's (gaminis) I used the red dye. I have also eliminated the OEM brake light that runs along the trim line.
