CABRIO WING/SPOILER

I finally installed (with a friend's help) the Cabrio spoiler that Brownflyer made for my '06 MCS Cabrio. At present, both third brake lights are functional..I haven't decided yet if I will delete the OEM light.

Brownflyer is a real craftsman, and I'm proud of the spoiler..

I welcome your feedback.

Glad to see another one of his running the streets

I only wish I could see it in person...Absolutely the only "mid-hatch" spoiler even worth looking at[drool]

Yeah, I dig this spoiler. Does it help with the dirty butt syndrome?

CABRIO WING

I agree with the "top down" theory, but I had just washed her, and couldn't put the top back yet...was in a hurry to send pics to Brownflyer...haven't had it on long enough to see if it helps with dirty butt...

Thanks for the "atta boys"...Brownflyer is da man!!!

Cool, Frank! Glad you got it done and like it - that's what counts. Not my thing - but that's why they call it you-ification!

I really love it. I saw brownflyer's yesterday and it really just finishes the back of the car to me. High quality piece, it really looks like it came on the car.

Cabrio Wing

Not sure if Brownflyer will make another one. You'll have to ask him. At present, his and mine are the only two he's made. If he does make one for you, you certainly won't be disappointed.
Good luck,
gaminis

The third pic said Rally to me as well. It looks good.

Does it hold water, or does it drain somewhere?

Cabrio Wing

Dang, Jughead...you scared me. I hadn't thought about the wing holding water, so I went out and turned on the hose. The water runs through the hatch door crack into the rubber gutter on the inside; just as it would without the wing...

^ I like the subdued look of the brake light when not lit.

Not often someone uses the word "subdued" to describe your cabrio, huh?

Your right Eager, not very often.

I colored the brake housing resin with a blue dye as opposed to Frank's (gaminis) I used the red dye. I have also eliminated the OEM brake light that runs along the trim line.
