R52 The rain drip
The rain drip
Hey all - on a rainy day in Jersey i had to post about "the drip" aka the stream of rain that falls directly onto my left knee or the seat corner when i open the door on a rainy day. How in the world can i avoid this??? Its driving me crazy!!! Luckily, i only remember this fault on rainy days
I tried searching, but didn't come up with much --or maybe was using the wrong word to search - If anyone can link to where this has already been addressed if it has -- that would be greatly appreciated.

Its rainin pretty hard in PA too (across the river from Trenton). I know what you're talking about and I'm not sure there is anything you can do. Its just the water dripping off of the top. Maybe putting some sort of water-beading sealant on the top would help keep water off of it...but I guess its just the nature of the beast!
Ahh, i'd do it but i'd have to move back to Jersey for the snow
Being bi-coastal however, sounds like a great plan !

That's the converti-shower option - you paid about $4500 extra for it, you just didn't know it at the time.
Comes with the convertible territory. Been living with it for almost 10 years now. Still PO's me...
Towel is probably the most effective fix... or a tiny little umbrella...

If that works for you...
But I was thinking of something a tad bigger... like a little folding umbrella that one person can barely fit under...

LOL!! Love it, I thought I was very careful in which options I chose.
I think it's Mini's way of getting even with us for putting the top up!!!

You know, ever since I got the cabrio I've been wanting to try that, just like in "Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown, and don't come back!".
Anyone remember how Charlie Brown and crew were driving to the chateau in the country in some little cabrio, it started pouring, and they couldn't get the roof closed? And how Marcy took an umbrella and turned it into an impromptu roof? I'm thinking I could do the same in my MINI with a patio umbrella and the roof opened for sunroof!
